Smiles and Sunshine
SYNDEY

Syndey hangs out outside my studio in Livermore. She's been sleeping on this same corner for 4 years. Syndey says she's got everything she needs. 100% profit of this sale will be donated to Asbury Food Kitchen where she often goes for a warm meal, 50% of which will be allocated directly to Syndey.

Success Story
SARAH
Sarah is an alumnus of Shepherd's Gate, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping women escape systems of abuse. Sarah is a picture of success and has truly been transformed. She now holds a full-time job and has started her own homeless ministry, "Mighty2save." They fill and deliver backpacks of supplies to people in need throughout the Tri-Valley. All proceeds from this painting will split equally between Shephard's Gate and help Sarah fill backpacks for Mighty2save.

Saved By Grace
SHAUN
Shaun is a true one-of-a-kind personality. Gruff on the outside, but don't judge a book by its cover. Shaun is a grateful, friendly, charismatic man who looks to serve others. Shawn leads an AA group and a community breakfast outreach every Sunday morning at Discovery Church in Livermore. 100% of this auction will go support Shaun in developing his homeless community breakfast ministry at Discovery Church.

Million Dollar Smile
Blake
Check out that smile! Blake is a participant of Sunflower Hill's Sunday Breakfast at Stable Cafe. One Sunday a month, individuals with special needs from Sunflower Hill learn restaurant skills such as taking orders, delivering food, and busing tables. Money raised from the proceeds of the painting will go towards Sunflower Hill and hiring a trainer in the hopes of allowing this program to run more often through the month.

Needs a Boost
CHRIS
Chris is a talented guy. You wouldn't know it by the way he dresses or talks, but he is experiencing homelessness. Chris is soft-spoken, full of ideas and looking for work. When Chris is stressed, you can find him at a park shooting hoops. Chris says he wants the money from this painting to the Homeless Refuge that serves Livermore, Pleasanton, & Dublin, run by Bob and Donna Mckenzie. I think we should also get him a gym membership where he can hoop and shower.

Veteran
Richard

Richard is one of many Veterans who finds himself homeless. He served as a US marine from October of 1974 to January of 1979. He has recently upgraded from living on the street to living out of his truck. I caught up with Richard at Vineyard Fellowship Church where he goes to shower on Mondays. The proceeds from Richard's painting will go to City Serve. Part of the money raised will also go towards Richard's basic expenses, such as his truck registration, toiletries, clothing, etc.
